You don't need to feel "sorry" about it, Sylvia. It was just my view of it, and so I have to say what I see exactly the way I see it. I never did anything else, expecting also anybody else to just be sincere in their opinions about what I do and say. So, thanks a lot for your explanation about "your art". But somehow I've heard that explanation about 356 times, and everybody takes cover behind some assumed "own art" when it comes to photography. This, I start suspecting, is a common detail of all of us here. (And I do include myself too in the following considerations!)
Now, considering dreams, magic and the like, though it's not a bad thing at all to have them here too, we shouldn't convert this forum to some kind of kitshy teenager poetry album, especially when the images are perhaps good for us, but photographically/photoshopographically not necessarily as strong, as they should be in order to pass the message of the own mental world to others.
In other words, unfortunately I can't see your dreams, as much as you can't see mine, Sylvia, but I can see your images, and you can see mine. They should convey those dreams if we wish them to. But then, they should *do* so using any possible mean of photographical skill.
This one does have atmosphere, but it is not some image on which I would recognize your own signature and perhaps also your own dreams and visions. It could just have been everybody else too of the set of people that simply add some difference clouds or anything else and then raise the result to the "own art". But that "own art" happens only when somebody can tell that this is unmistakably your image, without reading the info about it. *Then* we have the "own art" but not simply by applying filters and delivering tones of images that are essentially the same. This can't be enough for the "own art". Or wouldn't we immediatelly recognize a "Gursky", or a "Gassman", or any other master who really *has* a personal signature?
It's not a matter of "liking" only, it's a matter of creating. I do like your image, but to say that this was creative work.. well, how could I say that when I can't tell you from anybody else through it? Any how can it be then "your art", when it doesn't carry any special characteristic that distinguishes your work from any othe work around? Same goes of course for me too, and that's why I avoid still to speak about "my own art".
Best wishes,
Nick

Hi Nick, Thank you for your detailed critique, much appreciated. I am sorry that you feel that the picture was spoilt by the digital work done on it but it is a composition of two photos. I have made it slightly soft focused because it is a dream scene and being my dream I can do what I want in it:) I know how you feel about 'art' and having the freedom to express it anyway you feel is right for you..Well this is my 'art' and I feel its right for me!!! Hug Sylvia

I guess that the dream would be even more beautiful if no digital alteration would have been applied, Sylvia. Or if it had been applied but only to the sky at the depth. At that region it provides some fog-like effect that makes it much more impressive, as the water seems to extend to unknown places. But the rocky shore and the nice schulptures have lost too much detail and contour through that.. what was it? Perhaps difference clouds by PS?
Anyway, I try to imagine the original composition. And if I imagine that right it was a very good one, both wih leading lines and the depth that is needed to make the image strong. The colors/patterns of the stones must have been excellent.
Keep it up and best wishes,
Nick
