Lovely framing within frames, Cathy! The foreground frames the bridge which in turn frames the ferris wheel! Eb

The Harbour bridge is very much like our own Tyne Bridge in Newcastle on Tyne and in fact the steelwork for your bridge came from the North East after you copied our design.

Dear Cathy
I am glad you found my portfolio of some interest. I grap photo opportunities as I move around the world, but there are more occasions missed than great photos captured. I do not quite know why the image would not open and will re-post it as soon as I can.

Thankyou Gervais, I really enjoyed your comment, so I checked out your portfolio-very impressive. I like what you do with colour. Your latest image will not open at present, but the story came up. You spoke about the vacuous expressions on the faces of our marsupials, which made me smile. From personal experience kangaroos are only interested in sleeping and growling. Good luck with your attempts to capture any more than bland boredom. Hopefully your image will download soon and I can check out those vacuous eyes. CC

A very imaginative take. Quite a tour de force to bring these three massive symbols together and to achieve a sense of balance at the same time.

The light on Luna park is excellent, also good to see some foreground rather than just the bridge from a distance.

Very, very nice.
I love the warmth in winter's afternoon sunlight. It contrasts beautifully with the cool, crisp lines and the slate quality of the water.
You do have an excellent eye, and it just seems to get better!

wonderful composition and lighting. I like how you've put all the elements in their own place to create this composition of structures... lines are seen from all directions.. great shot! regards..

Great composition and I was about to say something about all those lines and it probably belongs in the lines project...but I see you've already been there and done that.
Love this shot!
Best wishes, Dave
