Thank you for your comment Cathy.
They seemed to alternate from fighting to loving from one second to the next, but I am sure you see that at work all the time.
We weren't overly close at this point, but having 500mm to play with certainly helps bring it all closer.
I didn't think my shots were worthy of casual conversation on another continent, but I will thank you for what I can only assume was a compliment. I wouldn't say I am psychic, not by any stretch of the imagination, but there have been some very strange coincidences over the years.
All the best, Ed

Thank you for the comment AJ.
I can understand your point of view, but I think the lack of distinction adds to the feeling of a rolling around fight. Besides which, options were limited as I was at the maximum 500mm of the lens and didn't want to risk missing the action by changing the focus while they were fighting.
All the best, Ed

Isn't this gorgeous! It looks like a cuddle.... but then again, there is sand flying.... You are very close to the action, whatever it is. I was just talking about your work this week! You psychic? CC

This is a great series of shots.
You've CC'd this one, so allow me to comment that I feel the subject is just a little indistinct. I think I would prefer either to see the whole of the two animals, or an even closer focus on a detail (those teeth or claws, for example).
