hehehe....isn't it? Lately they transform our port to a kind of prison...pitty, hope to change the goverment so there will be a different conditions there...that is not THE PORT OF THE WORLD... and my place is not a target...:-) anyway, hahaha...don't sent them of they don't have a visa :-DDDDD they shot them...not with cameras!

Superb detail in the water - I particularly like the drops streaming out of his beak. The reflection is great also. The only slight distraction is perhaps the burnt out white feathers - difficult to avoid in a shot like this.

Thanks Elisa, yea, you are right, shining a lot, I must had used one or two stops smaller aperture, I could have also better focus on the head area that goes a bit out of focal range... excellent comment!

Yeap...at the port of Heraklion for some days they cames but not for long...pity... and that is not the only reason...lately they put bars to the Heraklion's port and some coast-police are not let photographers there...yea, perchaps they affred if a terrorist see my gulls and understand where they can hit the ...port of Heraklion....aggggrrrrrrr :-(((((
Now about gull, if you can...please sent to Crete some! :-D we don't have lot! hahahahaha!

I must have missed this one...as I find it one of your best seagull shots yet !!!!
Also I love the reflection of this gull before the landing .... clarity is great, and motion is frozen with the water drops ...It's so nice John :))and well composed ! Excellent-- 7/7
