very nice blue. according to a report i read in economist, places like this are in danger of disappearing under water in the not too distant future.

Thanks Michele. This is one of the secluded water villas from a luxury resort hotel. They charge somewhere above USD2000 per night here. These villas are not connected to the land. Everythings available on these buildings isolated in the lagoon. This is a bit different from most water bungalows on other resorts which are connected to the island and the bungalows are like hotel rooms. The tide does not come upto the floor level. But once it did during the 2004 Asian Tsunami on some islands, which started in Indonesia. We were quite badly affected by it. Thats the only time on record we have had a tsunami here.
What I like about your image with the house on the river is the closeness to the woods. The trees and all. On our islands we do not have woods like yours.

I don't know how I missed this beautiful image Ahmed...I LOVE it . I am curious if the people just 'want' to live on the water like this...or if they are on land part of the time then the tide comes in and they are not in any trouble...(?)
The house you liked on the river in my portfolio was on stilts because in the winters and when the tides come in high the people get flooded.... so I was wondering if this was the same type of situation ... 7++++++++++++
