It's a pleasure to read from you, Joggie. I too in this period am not present in UF because first I was on holidays second I am experimenting now a new site: Nature Photographers. Here I post my little flowers in a forum where all are floral photographers. Here too there is a well organized section for comments and suggestions that works very well. In a second section there are personal portfolios where members can show their photos. If you have wish and time you can look at mine: Portfolios>Giuseppe Guadagno. In some weeks I will decide between staying here or coming back to UF. For NP plays the pleasure of joining photographers in love for flowers just as me; for UF plays the pleasure of sharing with friends and good photographers as you are, Joggie. I hope to meet again you and your splendid photos in some place on the web. Take care.
Giuseppe

Superb image - immaculate exposure - the repetition of the soft purple, top right, turns this into a perfect composition IMO - Well done, Giuseppe! Regards Lydia

I understand that you are experimenting, Giuseppe! I cannot really express an opinion about the previous two postings, but this one is really superb! You are a Master of White!!!Not only is the charming little pattern on the petals a signature of Nature, but the way you shot the different petals is the thing that gets my entire attention! There where the petals got differentiated is the masterful touch in this shot! (I wonder what would you do with a cluster of white wisteria???!!!) YT
