Thank you for your comment, Vickie. The spot and the stripes are from flags on Michigan Avenue bridge. They are very dominant and pretty much unavoidable (I guess I could wait until the wind blows towards the lake and they point in the other direction :-). I had thought about a Photoshop enhancement, but decided against it for now.
I'll see what I can do.

Great city view and I love the light coming on the buildings. Too bad the shot is tarnished by that big spot on the top left and the red stripes on the left over the windows. I think it's worth another try if you can!
