Bill, I hope you have great success and Point Peele. Things were really jumping this week where I go, and probably there its fantastic. Imagine, 100 different species. I'll be looking forward to some of your shots from there. Good luck, best regards.
Joe, thats really fantastic you spotted the nest. There are babies in there too, way to go. Hopefully, as the weather improves, and maybe you can get a bit closer, you'll get some great shots. Eventually they'll be leaving the nest but hanging around for a while and you should get some good shots of the family. Congrats. Art.
Hey Art, great timing on this. I think this is a male Cow bird? Just outstanding detail here. We have lots of them here in Michigan. I'm hoping to get to point Peele this weekend(about a 2 hour drive). In case you don't know it's the southern most point in Canada. This time of year it's the best birding spot you can find. The park ranger said they counted 100 different species there yesterday alone. I'm hoping to capture a Sissortailed Flycatcher??? Bill
That's great capture Art, I think he's trying to impress the ladies. Lots of feather detail and great colours. A real nice shot. I shot a Great Horned Owl's nest near my home today. I was too far away and it was too dull to get a good shot. Here's an idea. All the best, Joe
