Indeed a snapshot, Onie:-) I was amazed by the hail and snow and just had to photograph it- typically me- not much planning but spontaneous joy about something. I do manage to plan a photoshooting once in a while though;-) Take care down under

:))) Love the perspective Annemette... It's like you have stepped out the door, looked up and snap!!!... The night so beautiful, captured so beautifully...:)))
... and for me, I like this as is... :)))
Excellent plus as many as there are stars in that wonderful sky...:)

No, it really isn´t which is also why I was surprised by all the comments I got:-) Normal portrait presentation? This I don´t understand, Peter. Can you explain what you mean, please? Yes, I also saw the branches after uploading the photo and thought Oooops!*LOL* I´m not as thorough as you are. Thanks for your thorough comment!

Ha, quite a surprising picture this is .. not that it is that well taken technically, but the idea was great ! Perhaps i would have opted too for the normal portrait presentation, and the little bunch of branches on the left would have gone with me ;-) Peter

What an honour to receive such a comment- thank you:-) About the snow- well I wouldn´t want to live without it as I do love the changing seasons and the crisp clear air. Still I also long for the bright summernights and the possibility to play in the ocean:-)

We have had snow in May, but not this year:-) The climate is changing for certain. This morning I walked by a lake listening to a nightingale and a cookoo(?)- just magical.

Snow? I hope this is not a recent picture.
I don't mind the rotation. Works for me.

Dear Minoo Oh you mean having the roof as the heavy balance on the left? Because of the dark sky I thought that it was strong enough to balance the photo, but maybe I was wrong:-) Thanks a lot for commenting and have a nice weekend:-)

This is a very nice minimalistic image. I like it a lot. But I was wondering whether it should have been rotated or not. All the best, minoo
