About It was real interesting to watch these two Waxwings passing this berry back and forth. It went on for about 8 back and forths before one finally ate it.

Hi Todd, the best approach is to park yourself in the area and let them approach you. Usually you can spot an area they are active in, but it depends how long they stay. This was off the beaten path just after the entrance on about a 45 degree angle into the trees and shrubs. I had to go through thicker shrubs to get there, but they seems to stay for a good half hour. Also, this photo has been cropped, I didn't use my 1.4 TC though, I wanted to see how sharp the photos are with the bare lens. This wasn't the sharpest of the bunch, but had the best entertainment value. Best regards.

Arthur,

Great moment well captured, Arthur! How do you get so close? I was at Mudd Lake the other day and saw these guys, but I couldn't get close.

Nice job!
