Nice contrasty shot with snow on the rocks. Believe it or not....we had snow in East texas on Easter!! Good to see you posting again. Sharp detail in fissures of the rocks.

Yes Tim, we are out of winter! I exported this image file for posting over a month ago and finally felt up to posting it today! I am happy about your commenting on the detail since this was my goal in using HDR - despite the relatively low scene contrast and flat light.

Thanks Joggie! It seems that I have been incommunicato far to long. I have even forgotten how to develop photos! As far as HDR and alignment of images - it is a problem which is solved in CS3 with an auto alignment feature. I use Photomatix which also has alignment capability.

Lovely natural colour and texture Eb, great DoF, you are realy doing well with the HDR! (I tried it once or twice but was not impressed with my own results - perhaps I need a sturdier tri-pod). Glad to see you back agian. Regards.
