i agree very much with marco. work with the lighting more and remember, always simplify. anything in the photograph that does not contribute to the composition detracts from it. the arm, the papers, even the angle aren't working for you here. keep trying! helping us become better photographers,
Vicky, Kira is wonderful, so sweet. But you should try at least to remove the white eye effect caused by your speedlight in her pupil and clean the composition without the disturbing papers in the foreground. That said, I'ma also so fond of my pets that love every photo I take of them, even if not perfect. Regards - marco
