Superb dear Tim. I admire your eye and patience to capture an image that we can only conceive in our imagination. The strong saturation makes this picture to appear like a painting.

yeah thought so.. can be a problem eh.. I had an old work laptop that I used to take away with me and you would cook up a storm then you get home and put it up on the 24" monitor and go OMG!! what the hell!!! so I now wait until I get home to do any serious processing or hopefully my new laptop which I am on at the moment will serve me well when we are away later this year... if not I guess I will apologise well before the event kekeke

Great shot Tim, beautiful scenery and sky, excellent composition with the angled tree, beautiful reflection and distant hills, I was going to comment on how dark it is with the high colour saturation but you have explained that in your follow-up post.

for some reason my answer to you did not go through so if you get this a few time my apologies:
Hi Roger,
ahhh yes the colors were very vibrant. This is one of the reasons we went there at this time of the year as well as the weather is likely to be at it's best as well.
I worked on these photos with my cheap traveling laptop and the screen is poor. Now that i am looking at this image with my "good" laptop it is to dark which would make the colors look more saturated then intended. The same goes for the previous posting. It is a bit frustrating how different any one image can look depending on which computer you use....just one of the drawbacks i guess. I am sure that there must be a difference in your new screen from the old one too.

one more thing the air there is something else it has this dense warm hue which really enhances the colors especially when shooting in the morning and the evening.

Wonderful image, so great tones of colours and such scenery, it all looks magical. I like the contrast of the ground towards the cloudes, as well the water reflection and that very very calm feeling in there.
