About	the fire was made between the ladder and the wall, and the smoke going out the shiva by the hole in the ceiling, so you have to pass in the smoke and be purified for the reunion. The hole you see in the background is connected to the outside to bring fresh air and the air was deviated by the half wall in the middle of the place, so there was aeration of the shiva and no deviation of the sacred smoke. Sorry for the bad quality, but I want to bring the feeling to be in the shiva, and there was not a lot of light available (iso 3200, 1/3 sec, F4, without tripod (to little space to go down with all my material). We were about 10 persons in this little place at the same time and many more waiting to go down in the shiva, you could imagine it was a real challenge to take this picture without anybody in the frame. une photo qui frappe par ses significations et moins sur son apparence. Sont-elles toujours voulues ses significations? C'est une belle idée le coup de l'échelle sous l'unique éclairage de ta photo. La forme qu'on pris les échelons sous le poids des montants ou des descendants. Belle idée mon jacques;)
