Excellent child portrait with lovely soft lighting-I like the soft focus around her hair.The background interests me as well, looks like stars in the night sky.I paint some of my backgrounds so dont be too surprised if you see something similar in the future!!!!

Shirley, This is a nice portrait but, IMHO the face has too much red in it. This may indeed be how she actually looked but it just doesn't look right to my eye's (they are over 76 years old:-))
I like the background material and the hair light, also the catch lights in the eye's. If it were mine, I might use some gaussian blur just to get rid of the fluff on her face (or alternatively use "Neat Image" but very sparingly)
