Thank you very much, Ferdinand. I consider remarkable the fact that everybody of us will see different lines and patterns here, and so it is very helpful to read your opinion about it.

Best wishes and thanks again,

Nick

Thank you very much for the info, Dave. Still I'm looking for methods to achieve more "only" with camera/lens, though.

Best wishes and thanks again,

Nick

Hi Nick, on the first sight it seems a tumble but after a second I see different lines that come together in a few strong points. So there is a good composition and the colours are beautiful, so it IS a nice photo. Greatings.
Ferdinand.

Very interesting...with nice saturation of the green.
Happy Easter!

Hi Nick, I don't think there's much you can do in camera, except of course for bracketing the shots to get the proper exposure (possible one stop more and one stop less), but I was really referring to the post processing. Possibly you've done all you can, and this is the best you can get, though.
Dave.

OK, thanks a lot Dave! I try to saturate the darned thing but it eats and eats and eats... and never gets really enough! ;-)

But how do I tweak saturation and contrast? And what does it mean for me, when I apply some special settings to the camera? Any ideas????

OK, OK, I know! You wanna get the job done? Go learn something guy! And that's what I am doing now. Oh my, it's a tone of stuff to be learned!!! AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! :-)

Hi Nick, yes they probably are, but a little tweak in saturation and contrast would probably fix that!
Dave.

Thanks a lot, Dave. Aren't they a bit overexposed?

I like the patterns formed by the needles here, Nick, and the colour is very nice.
Dave.
