I understand Valentin. I like dark images too.
The darkness suits this one nicely.

Valentin,

of course you are the creator of the image so it is you who know how it should be. To give you visual idea what I had in mind I took your image and made a little modification. Please take a look and tell me what do you think.

Thank you Andre. Glad to read your comment but this photo is already done. And yes, I really wanted to have it dark :)

It was a daylight photo -- i.e. the light was good. Only processing was exposure -"Don't Remember How Much" in Camera Raw. Tree on the left side and background blur - imho it's ok, but thank you for opinion. i will try to imagine other variants. Concerning "make her lighter" -- disagree. The name of the shot is "Vampire Chronicles" :)

Just a touch more highlight in the face area would improve the effect of this shot I believe. I know you want to keep it dark and mysterious, but still.. The background and candle light are fine for the effect you want to create, But just a little more light on some of the features of the face.

Nice attempt, but there are few things which could make image much better.
The tree on the left side is disturbing. Much better would be if background is blurred and she is in focus.
Too central composition moving her bit on right side would help I think.
She is same dark as background, if the exposure would be long to get more light from candle or in post processing to make her bit lighter than background would be better.
