I have a feeling these true wet-dark-room pictures are much better than the digital BWs. This one has a nice composition, well balanced tones, and the last but not least, shows a result of a man's technical thinking and work (some may not like such old-technology-scrap stuff, but I do, very much).

Not sure I agree with Mr. Arrey about increasing the contrast. I think you risk it getting too posterized if you pump up the contrast much more. This is a very cool image with great patterns and details. I think the grain works very well with the industrial subject.

Ah cool. Old, industrial and grainy. Good combination. The grain works well in this giving some added texture to all the iron. 8)
