This photo was taken on a recent trip to Gulgong in outback NSW and it shows the conditions faced by farmers with the present drought. I must have driven passed 8-10 dams and they were all dry. I also got a few shots of a small twister not too far from some sheep that were trying to graze in a paddock so dry that there was absolutely no grass. 13mm, 0.7sec, f22, ISO 100 RAW.
Yep that's the one. I think the pictures on the $10 note are supposed to show scences from Henry Lawsons childhood in Gulgong when it was a gold mining town.
