About A real photograph paradise, this is a slot canyon near Page, a very impressive passage through the rock. Colors and lightning are incredible. If you ever get there, you should visit that place between 11;30 and 12:30 to see those ray going down all the way, otherwhise, you can only see the colors and the rock... and this is not so bad at all :)

I will try to post 4 or 5 pics... but it will be very hard cause I took about 125 pictures in my visit there :)

The only bad thing in this visit : I forgot my tripod and take my pictures in high ISO

when we went to Antelope we where with Navajo natives and they were kind of stress they push us to go quickly... Sure if I go back (and I will someday for sure) I will take my time, even if I have to pay them more then for the first time.

Thanks for stopping by and comment Peta. I really appreciate.

Hi Jacques,
First off I'd like to thank you for your recent comment on my photo. I took a look through you gallery and noticed that you went to Antelope Canyon. This photo here looks so much like one I captured back in April that I thought you might like to have a look at it.

this is a very impressive place, and for all that slot canyon, you should look the weather before entering those like Zion... It could be very dangerous, but most of the time they are pure beauty and they wait for us :)
thanks for taking time to stop by and comment, really appreciate.

Hey you sure had a good trip. These images you caught were amazing. I always wonder when I see images of this, that obviously a lot of water runs through here at times and being in there would be a nasty thing at that time. I guess i see too many discovery channel programs......lol....Ohhhh the fear.....
Nice to see these shot very inspiring!

Excellent shot of a spectacular scene. The light shining almost vertical is a very nice element in this excellent composition. Very sharp and great dof special without the benefit of a tripod. Very informative accompanying text. Very well done.

All the best,
Joe

I also have seen many photos from this site, another one is always a treat. I agree that you did need to take your tripod though, I sure hope you will be able to go back sometime!?!?

Looks like a wonderful place, I'd love to check it out one day! Although, I've seen so many shots I feel like I have been there.

What a shame you didnt have your tripod! Would have been fun to try two exposures to combine - so you could possibly get a stronger ray of light?

You might be interested to see an amazing Australian photographers shots from there, they are the best I've ever seen! ...
