Wow. There are some truly amazing shots on that other site. I think my favorite is this: http://www.photochimps.com/pp/showphoto.php/photo/9811/ppuser/561 as it not only has the gaurds but also the impressive architecture that was captured! Great stuff!

The guards are photographed thousands of times each day. It’s their job to get photographed. If you want to see that pic at 2500 pixels the long side and some more of these guards you may go here - http://www.photochimps.com/pp/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=561 Val

Excellent details in the whole range from the foreground to the background, and a nice balanced composition, Valery! Even the hues support the atmosphere of the scene!
Valery, could such a photo get even better by some amount of underexposure? I have the impression that the contrasts would get even harder this way, and thus the scene would take a very very "serious duty" character, if you understand what I mean.
Best wishes,
Nick

Valery,
Good to see some more work from you! Haven't seen any new posts from you in a while. Very intresting subject to capture for a panoramic.
The gaurds do not look to impressed with thier picture being taken....
Great shot!
