Good street photography and a very a powerful image for me. Life certainly looks like it has crushed him. The intense sadness in his face pervades the whole scene and black and white was really the only option for this image IMO. Regards, Gary

Very sad expression. Everybody can end up in the streets even welleducated people with a bright career because something collapse in their heads- a depression that is not taken care of. A lot of the people we see walking the streets are often mentally ill people that needs help other than a shelter. I remember seing a disabled sweet fellow sitting by himself dirty and smiling on a bench in Charlotte Amalie on Sct. Thomas. That sight really broke my heart knowing that he´s just a small child on the inside, and there he was all alone in the world with no good future or past. A good photo that should make us all feel some responsibility instead of just turning our backs to them. Best wishes Annemette
