I like the brightness of the colors. I don't know what kind of flowers these are, but I remember bringing some to a relative who was ill -- and she was very happy to receive them. Now, I always associate them with this memory.

I like the composition and the black background and the colourful flowers - I think the lighting is a little harsh though - could you do it again with a piece of tissue over the flash to diffuse it a little - give a softer light?
