Jim, this series of Pellicans is awesome! I have tried to capture them many times so I can appreciate how hard it is to do. Your level of detail in their feathers is fantastic! And the colors are so true. Wonderful work.

Jim, I'm very impressed with this photo, you have captured the detail with incredible sharpness. The detail is more pronounced because of the lack of detail in the water, which is a very good use of DOF. The crop is also well done with the bird slightly over to the right looking into the empty space to the left. Its quite difficult to find a way of making any technical crtitsism of this.
Well done.
