Love this Joe... The only thing for me was his hand, however read your explanation in the replies... :)
Love the tones, and his facial expression is well controlled adding to the theatrics... Like the DoF... just enough so that it gives the *reason* for him being there... :)

I like the intense expression you've caught here, Joe, and enough detail in the background to see the expression on the girl's face. I think that keeps it more of a street shot type of image, showing the interaction of those around him.

Good moment! Appears to be a good choice of depth of field with enough detail preserved in the background action. Perhaps the right margin runs interference with the hand. I can imagine a significant extension to the right, with similar background detail, would work well.

Joe, I would like to see less contrast with the background, and more blur, but that's my preference. It depends whether you want a scene or a portrait :) Right now it's more of a portrait, it can look great even without the audience, maybe keep the girl on the left and blur the crowd on the right?

Glad you like the B&W Ina, I would like to see a little more contrast between the foreground and background. I was thinking of posting the colour version as well to see which people prefer.
