Hey, Patrick, go for it instead of waiting! There must be someone around you that you´re in love with or similar. Life doesn´t wait for anyone, and if feeling good chemistry with a girl then she probably feels the same way. You have such a good sense of using the language, so write her a letter. But not Mister X, what about Xister M instead?*LOL* Good luck and have a good weekend

I totally agree with you, Annemette about the commercialism of it... in any case, Valentine's Day for me is for people who AREN"T with anyone. The whole point of it for me is to send someone you secretly admire a card saying something like 'you've got great buns' or 'my heart skips like a newborn goat in a meadow every time I see you... or that could be due to my excessive caffeine intake, I'm not sure.' and then sign it MISTER X.

Oh you poor thing! Getting a valentine´s card from your mother. Is it any comfort to you that I NEVER received such a card not even from my mother or father?;-)But hey I survived mainly because it´s not a Danish tradition. More and more people have started celebrating it in Denmark, but I personally don´t believe in commercial days for showing love and affection. I know it wasn´t a commercial day back in time, but it´s now. Showing love, feeling it belongs to life as a whole or not and in spontaneous ways.

Agreeing with Annemette here, ~~GRIN~~ You really do have a way with words... Very apt title again Sir...
This is very clever, dark in everything, title setting the mind frame of the viewer... The wall for me, is the degraded skin of an addict... the dark runs, the life force slowly draining away and the window, a giant track mark telling of point of entry...
Excellent Patrick...:)
Patrick... :)Don't be too jealous or cynical... Valentines is all well and good, but, it is only one day out of a whole year... and very commercial:) This doesn't mean I am not a romantic... Love is an everyday emotion, celebrated in the simplest ways that cannot be bought or paid for...:) It's everyone of those *ways* that truly sets hearts beating... :) Do I sound like a mother LMAO...
Onie...:)

I had to provide a healthy dose of cynicism amidst all the hearts and love offerings being uploaded on Usefilm today! No, I'm jealous, that's all! I've only ever received one valentine's card, when I was 15. For a whole month afterwards I kept saying to my mum 'I wonder who it's from?!', hoping desperately it was from a girl called Kate. Eventually my mum told me she'd sent it! I was so disappointed! Mothers... they do things out of love and then it all backfires!!
