I like this one. One of my favorites are when the mountains are clearly like different levels or like layers. This is one of a kind. well done

Thanks a lot Nilanjan. I wish, though, that the bottom of the image were also as "wow" as the rest of it.
Cheers,
Nick

Thnak you very much for the nice detailed comment, Andre!
I also think that the houses are not quite part of this image - they appear too much as "intruders" in the scene. Perhaps leaving them out and taking more sky would have help much. This way the image would start right at the lake. The cropped attachment however misses something, and so you must be right. Some kind of immediate foreground like a field or similar seems to be necessary. Perhaps because it would create "here" as opposed to the "far", and help the image to get more depth this way.
Today I'll be posting another one that I shot almost at the same location, since as already said to Luis I did realize that the houses are strangers on this photo. But still this one has a better overall look for my eyes than the one that will follow.
Greetings and a nice day,
Nick

Indeed Luis, the houses do not help the composition this way. Either more of them or completely off image would have been better. I did realize that when I was taking the photo and I tried another one which I'll post today.
Many thanks and best wishes,
Nick

Hi Nick, This one shows up very well on my monitor. The nice soft reflections on the lake make the image appear very peaceful. I see what Luis is saying about leaving the houses out. I would also consider that, simply because the viewer is then presented with an un-interupted natural scene. But on the other hand the balance is good. If the houses were a natural forest or a field, you would have had a perfect classic landscape. Andre

Great shot Nick. Have fun. I would keep the houses out of it.
