Actually, Dave, I DID combine the two photos. I had the shaded water and just felt the swan belonged there. Then I added the selectively layered blur of the new creation. Thank you, Dave!:)

Very mystical, Shirley... almost looks like you combined photos in post-processing but my guyess is you didn't. Anyway, I like the soft haziness here, it gives it that "feel" of mysticism.

You might notice that most of my images were taken on film. I don't know about IR filters...are they for the digital cameras? I have a new Nikon D80, but am still just learning to use it.
