Thanks very much Gary. I appreciate the feedback, doesn't sound wishy washy to me. :) I was looking to accentuate the contrast but as you say the subject matter is strong enough make a good image with more natural light settings.

Hi Joe. Nice shot. For me, I think I prefer something in between the original and the posted one. I think I have a tendency towards lower contrasts normally, but I do like the grass in this one, maybe combined with the lighter "more natural" snow of the original. I know, I'm kinda wishy washy!! Thanks Ferdinand for viewing and commenting. I was going for high contrast to accentuate the highlights in the snow and the light on the reeds. Here is a more nature version of the image which you may find more to your liking. I appreciate receiving your feedback.

Very good composition, the reeds is well coloured, only the snow ... he is too black. But nevertheless it is a nice picture.
