This is so bleak, a cold desert. You've composed this well with the right mix of land and sky. Not sure if the curve on the horizon is due to lens distortion or not, either way it looks good.

Hi Don, no, it is just a rolling hill. This probably isn't a good entry for the "peace and tranquility" photo project....unless you like this sort of place. :)

lol, "desolation" was another title consideration, Andre!
It is a desolate place, the wind blows year round. And there are coyotes! This is actually part of a subdivision of 35+ acre lots...no electricity so not to much building...yet. However, there are great views of a large valley sided by a mountain range. I've got a shot taken earlier about 40 miles away showing the range...I'll try and post it.

It does look a little desolate out there... I can hear the coyotes in the distance as well as the wind.
