What a great subject for an IR shot. I love it. Im surprised to how sensitive your Sony717 is to IR light. My D70 would need a 1 minute exposure to get something like this with a ND4 attached. Great PS work also. regards

Im loving this picture, we havent had even a tiny bit of snow yet this year so Im living vicariously through yours, beautiful shot I love the darkness of the water agaisnt the white snow and the trees adding height to strecth out the frame, bravo :)

Ok, no this is one hell of a shot.. if i have no sun in my image, i have no photo. SO how u do it, how u maintain the vivid colours with the amazing white space? this is such a peacful photo, congrats ( i got how u do it now):)

Hi Gennaro,
The IR image is first converted to b&w, next i put on a new layer, blending mode "color" and opacity to your own liking (strength of colour), next i pick a colour and start painting by hand with the brush .. i adjust the opacity of the layer to my liking (strength of the colour). And i use one layer for each different colour.
That's all ! Peter
