I like every thing about it. Nice focus and composition! A cleaner background may also be appealing, leaving more the flower to stand out more on it's own.

My sister lives in Alberta, her first Winter there and she said it's one snow storm after another...she sent me a picture of her front yard, looked like sand dunes, but it was snow...LOL. Poor thing she's not a happy hibernater.
Very nice floral image Ashley!! Great the way mother nature makes use of complementary colors..nice dof contrasted against the oof bg...you could take a bit off the right if you wanted to, just up to the second bud from the border, or not, it's lovely either way. :)

Very nice shot, and aptly titled. Nice work. I personally like to off center point of focus and the similarly colored flowers in the background.

As a CC image, I'd suggest that the flower is a bit soft and that there's no need for the space at the right. It's essentially a standing top-down closeup of the open flower.

I really like the focus on the photo subject, makes the viewer do not lose the attention, very good background, but perhaps a little bit more of light would make the picture even better. Congratulations Ashley. Best regards, Luciano.

Nice shot, good composition, good colour, I like the bokeh, The focus on the flower looks just a little soft to me.
