I think this is marvelous. The black and gold combination provides a richness. The dome of light emphasizes the landscape and slides my eyes from the left side to the bright area. It is a wonderfully composed image.

Sam this is one VERY striking image! Just a beauty! The POV is perfect . . . classic even! Nice, tack-sharp silhouette and wonderful warm colors . . .
I also see the slight banding in the color lines, especially at full size . . . but it seems very minor. I'm wondering if it couldn't be improved by slecting the bands with a 125-150 px feather masking out the remainder of the image . . . and gently . . . slightly . . . increase the blur just in the color area . . .(?)
Just a thought. It's a great shot anyway Sam . . . As is!! Nicely done!

Hi Sam,
I think the tones are great, and I don't think anyone can critisise the POV - it's a classic. A few of halo-ish transitions in the gradient around the sun, but They're always very difficult to prevent. Very nice shot!

Fantastic sunset panorama of NYC!!! Wonderful silhouetted skyline, excellent composition, great tones... well done!!! I might be tempted to crop a little from the bottom to get an even (more) extreme pano... well I might... ;-DDD
