About When living we always carry the knowledge of death. We experience it constantly around us in many forms, and in a heartbreaking way when losing loved ones.
I don´t fear Death itself - I fear not being able to live, to breath air, smile and feel.
Nonetheless I´m slowly coming to terms with this situation of the necessary death as I have to leave room for others one day hopefully as an old wise woman, I would probably be a nuisance after 500 years*LOL* and when loosing dear ones again and again it´s more tempting to follow them.
The old Greeks were the ones to present the thought of an eternal soul to the monotheistic religions, and I can only say that they´d better be right!;-)

Dear Ardalan
I´m still young and hopefully will be at heart all my life, but losing loved ones is a complicated matter.
Anyway I´ve always wondered about death even before I was a teenager. I believe that we live on as memories if we manage to open ourselves to others and inspire, share and love.
When it comes to an eternal soul nobody knows. I can only say that I´m open and willing to be happily surprised;-)
Thank you so much for giving me this wonderful comment that I appreciate very much.
Take care
Annemette

Great original idea and use of patterns and colours- being caught between birth and death. But that beautiful serene expression clearly shows the value of life- full of spirit and soul that must be eternal!

my dear Annemette,
I have no idea about your age, but even old or young as you mentioned it's the innocent heart of us that stays forever ,even after death. even if you die, your heart is not dead, it's your spirit and it's your connection to other elements, that never dies.
So, don't think about leaving room for others and this and that...this universe is vast and kind enough to be a place for living. Flesh and Soul are friends. So, if your flesh die, your soul will still exist and it's eternal.
I hope i could get you know of what you know
Thanks for this beautiful thought of yours and how honeslty and purely you mentioned.

All the bests,
Take care,
Ardalan.

Well.... today is my birthday and I was feeling good about life until I saw this. Now I am going to go off and sulk and contemplate my death.
Have a good day!
