This impressive building in the Plaza de España is interesting,in my experience, from a number of angles;giving it a human interest with the couple in the foreground is a very nice touch.He seems to be looking at the newspaper,maybe they're looking for a place to rent,in which case, the building behind would be way out of reach!Renting a flat in Madrid is a very expensive business and there has been a lot of protest about this recently by young people most of whom have to live at home with their parents until they are thirty! Great B & W composition Paolo. The towering building is so tall and so symmetrical, it makes your eyes look for a resting point, and the couple below on the fountain ledge add just that (very interesting couple by itself). Great combination - again - of people & city architecture :)
