Thanks a lot Andre! Some more of this kind will follow in the next days! I was shooting more photos of this style when I was using my 100mm Canon FD macro. After it has been stolen I was using mostly the Tokina 80-200mm zoom with macro option but I could seldom get it in the "real macro sense". However in some cases, like here, doing macros with the Tokina lens did work.

Hi Nick,
This last little set of close-ups is very impressive. I am a little biased because I prefer this kind of blurred, dark background when shooting macros of florals and plants. Nice natural colours in this one too. I have one that I just downloaded the other day of some high grass. Maybe I'll do one latter on too.
