Another place I really need to explore. The big problem is always my dog, usually not allowed in National Parks and it is hard to keep him leashed while I am trying to shoot.

This is fantastic Jacques, in my opinion it's the clouds that really anchors the shot aside from the rock formations. I haven't been to this part of Canyonlands but viewing your images gives me a glimpse of what awaits me, great capture.

Fabulous level of detail in this landscape Jacques. Using the perspective of the rock formations to create a subtle diagonal within the comp works really well. I'm presuming that this shot had a fair bit of contrast in it given the lighting conditions. If so then good work in the PP to bring up the details.

I can remember well the visit in the Canyonland and find your interpretation thoroughly successfully in the disposition with the clouds and the geografic formations. Whereby a clear, blue sky better would have pleased me without clouds as a contrast to the landscape. But that is my subjective visibility. Sincerely Gerhard
