About
Being the hip, cutting edge, or down right goofy town we are, Segway tours are conducted during the warmer months in the downtown former mill region of Minneapolis. Winter tours were discontinued when parka hoods would block segway riders vision or heated helmets malfunctioned causing hair to be senged or ear muffs catching fire, causing spin outs, pile ups, stalls and the tragic accidental death of one hapless rider who hit a patch of black ice and was thrown over the Stone Arch bridge into the frigid Mississippi below. When the tour guide noticed that one of her tour members was AWOL, she asked the others what had happened and they answered in unison pointing to the river below, he went Seg-a-way. The tour guide seemed to not find the humor in this and immediately cancelled the rest of the tour, a three hour tour.... Ok, that didn't really happen but it could,... maybe.
