Pat, yes it is freehand. Not all attempts are as sharp as they should be but there is so much more freedom to manoeuvre.

What a beautiful tradescantia Eb! We have a different tipe here with flowers non so nice but the leaves are splendid. Your tradescantia virginiana is typical of North America.
