Many thanks Dear Alex!
Poetic comment! :)
I chose to shoot it in this format, Alex. In landscape, it did not look so effective.
Warmest Wishes my friend! Aniko :)

Impressive. I like the tree that seems bent by the harsh environment, and thus, being personalised. Like an old man trying to get home to his family. I would have loved to see it landscape, rather than portrait. Nevertheless it's very very 'coool'. Ciao!

Dear Annemette!
Oh yes... it snows in Australia! It is a large continent with a variety of different climates (and time zones... so it's pretty big!) Where I live, we don't often get really heavy snowfall, but about an hour and halfs drive from here, we do, and further still, we have some excellent ski resorts etc. On the highest peaks, if the weather continues to behave in this odd manner, we might even have a white Christmas! LOL!
Thank you for your kind comments, always apreciated!
Best Wishes, Aniko :)

Thank you Dear Al!
In fact the image here is more contrasty than the original... my scanner refused to recognize it... lol... The scene at that time was like a magical softness I flet a part of, and almost monochrome owing to the thick fog which is all the way to the ground, even shrouding the snow to an extent. It was awesome!
Thank you again for your kind comments and I wish you could see the original, but no matter what I do with my scanner (adjustments etc) and in PS both refuse to give a perfectly accurate rendition... ah well... :)
Warmest Wishes to you, Aniko :)

This one is very beautiful and has an other worldly feel. The fog is such a magical friend to the photographer!

You're welcome, dear Aniko! Weather around the world seems to be getting stranger. It's hard for me to get my head around the fact that you're beginning summer, when winter is just beginning for me.:)

Thank you Dear Shirley... Lovely, in an artistic sense... I think yes... but it is close to summer here! Weird!!! Even in the cooler part of Australia where I live, this is unlikely... and yet, it happens. And still we are in a drought for about 10 years! Often the temperatures where I live (reminding you I live in the cooler part of Aus) gets to well over 100 degrees F at this time of year... what's with the snow?????????????
Warm Wishes to you my sweet friend, and thank you for your kind comment. Aniko :)
