Dear Monica!

Thank you so much!

Yes... there are many "faces" (and also figures)in these macro abstracts and often other images as well... we went through a stage of picking them all out recently... lol!

Your comments are very kind and much appreciated.
Warm Wishes.
Aniko :)

Many thanks Dear Shirley!!!

I am very into macro photography all of a sudden as I have mentioned... And abstracts...

But now my computer is doing naughty tricks!
It keeps suddenly just turning itself off (not crashing) but logging out, saving settings just as a normal shut down I would have inititated... only I'm not initiating it! Weird... so forgive me if I disappear and then eventually pop back for a moment here or there... I will get to the bottom of this latest mystery too... lol... best to laugh!

Loving Wishes,
Aniko :)

ROFL Onie... yep!!!

Please read my comment to Bek or I'd just be repeating myself.

The technique this glass artist uses is unknown to me, other than that all the colours and bubbles etc are in the glass, not painted onto it. I didn't get a chance to watch her create any of her wonders, but have seen a lot of results. Like I said to Bek, I own 2 pieces. Magick and yes, the colours are pretty like rainbows. A mostly blue vase (which mine is), when backlit, shows these little worlds of colour. Amazing stuff!

Thanks for looking and commenting Onie...

Hugs to you,
Ani :)

LOL! Thanks for the reminder of the vase Bek.
I shot this macro a little while back and you inspired me to post it when i saw your vase shot.

I deliberately did NOT mention the face in this one... but yeah, it's there. :)We might just need a new category! :)

Interestingly, in some earlier abstracts I have posted, it was Dave Arnold who picked up on faces in my images! Faces, full figures etc. Until that B&W ghost/s at the window one, I never made a real big deal out of it. But that one has had everyone totally stumped!

Back to this image: The lady who hand makes these incredible vases and other glassware uses some sort of interesting technique and was so happy that I could see faces, scenes etc in her work. I have photographed a lot of her stuff. She's brilliant. I own 2 of her pieces, and one is this vase (though this is a tiny detail from it.

Ramble rabmle...
Thanks Bek...
Glad you like it!

Hugs~
Ani :)

I'm with Bek Ani... LOL... First thing I saw, a face...

Can see the very fine lines and bubbles, be they in the glass itself or colouring/paint...

Colours are very pretty the way they *rainbow* across the shot...

Beautiful...

Onie...

And another face, I think we either have a new category here on UF for ghostly images or a modified where's Wally competetition happening. Ok, maybe it's your reflection?
I love the colours here Ani, very striking, a bit watercolour-ey.
cheers, Bek
