Jimmy, when I looked at this there was something familiar about this, the picture draws you, but there was something else. In my down time today I looked back at some of your work, and saw the familiar yet different. There is such an awesome contrast between IN THOUGHT and GIVE THANKS, not just in the actual image but in the titles, it makes you think of what was between IN THOUGHT and GIVE(ing) THANKS! This pictures touches me everytime I see it!

Jimmy, I don't even know if I can find words for this one! This is truly an awesome piece of work! This picture speaks a thousand words and each is different to each one of us, but at least one word will come from everyone's mouth--very well done!

Great mood Jimmy, I love images like this where edges are lost into the background. Excellent portrait. Personally I'd like to see a little more light on the skin tones but it is a small thing. regards, Graham

This is so well done, Jimmy, and goes straight to my faves. The vertical line from hands to forehead stands out powerfully from the surrounding negative space. The downward eyes ensure we look along the line toward the hands, there is nowhere else to look, the effect is that strong. I really enjoy it when an image forces me to share what the photographer had in mind. Excellent work. Regards, Gary

Another fine one; well done. The dark and dramatic portrait is excellent and the vertical composition works so well here. I would have liked to see a wee bit more light on the side of the face but that is a minor matter. --Regards to you, Jan

Great portrait, I really like how the jacket sort of blends into the background, while the shirt really stands out. Great composition. If anything was to be improved, I would wish that you lit the left side of his face a bit more - it could also have been nice if his hair stood a bit more out from the background.
