That butterfly on the camper fascinated me for along time, and finally I took this photo. Those are the actual colors of the butterfly. I agree, the photo looked cluttered, so that's why I did the selective coloring bit.
Thank you so very much, dear Doyle!:)

Wonderful use of selective color. The funny thing is . . . to me . . . the image seems cluttered and obstructed . . . off-balance even . . . but I really kinda' like it. And the selective color feels like it just pulls the whole thing together . . . though I'm not sure why. The warm color of the butterfly wings . . . lined with the cool color to delineate them . . . and dropped into the scene . . . have really made all the difference in the world for this shot (IMHO). You're a bottomless pit of creativity my dear Shirley! Unerringly unique!
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~

This is a shot I never would have thought of taking just because of all the obstructions. But presenting it the way you have (selective color) is very interesting and makes it an appealing photograph. I first strated thinking that maybe cropping off the mail box and car i the background might be a good idea but then that gives it some sense of depth.
Best wishes, Dave

Thank you, Paul. If you notice, the fence is straight...it's the camper that tilts. If I correct the camper tilt, then everything else will be crooked.;)

It slops a bit but I like the idea and capture! Do you think you could straightin the camper without messing the picture up? Maybe that would throw everything else out? hummm...One other Idea for you Shirl........The next time you drive by......Stop and show them the nice view you captured and ask them to level it out and you'll reshoot it for them! hehe (Maybe not)! lol But I do like this shot.
