At first, I'd like to say this has a very angelic mood which makes for a very striking image.
After thinking about it, I would tend to agree with Doyle on the redness issue - for which you gave a very plausible explanation. In fact, I tried some color correction in PS, because I thought the red added a harshness, not totally in keeping with the angelic quality.
Finally, while I would not necessarily consider moving the red table, I am wondering if you have ever tried covering it with a white drop cloth for experimental purposes. White adds a more natural balance in a backlit situation, whereas colors tend to bleed into the photograph. When I go on location it's always "in the bag" for that extra ounce of security.
You seem to be very passionate about your work, and it shows. So, I think little experimentation could go a long way.

Great shot and great lighting Nessa . . . I would consider a slight drop in red saturation but that's just me. Masterful use of light and shadow as always and a perfect model for you giving you a priceless expression!!!
I also like the torn edge frame cropping and stamp signature you used. While it's not a critique of the image . . . presentation is equally important and it's done very well here too!
With these girls of yours to photograph . . . how could you NOT be into photography?
