About The colors on the slide are much more vibrant (it is Velvia, after all), but I\'m not good enough with Photoshop to make the scanned image match the slide. The rocks are a much more intense orangey-red. I do like the moon in this shot.

Beautiful colors, great composition! I'm in the same boat, in that I don't know how to use PS to match the slides, either. Thanks for the comments on the climbers. I do have a closeup of the climber you were talking about, on the same climb. I'll post that next. This is an outstanding shot, by the way.

Neil - I'm an idiot! I forgot to USM after resizing. I'm past my limit for the day, and I don't think I can just remove the photo and replace it without losing the comments. Take my word, the slide is nice and crisp.

No need to PS it - the colors are great. I like the moon.

Yes, beautiful light and scene. I think the reduction has made the texture/pattern on the rocks a litle soft and perhaps lacking a little contrast. Maybe if you select those in PS and play with levels and USM (just a tad), it will bring those out and may even match your print better.
