In general I agree with your liking. The one thing that I see that doesn't work is the boots. They are probably fine boots, but because of the color choice (b&w) and the level of contrast your feet disappear into a nebulous black blob. I suppose you could crop (mid-thigh?), but really I say this for future reference. See ya.

I love the composition and pose. The focus issue is strange as it appears to be uneven along a focal plane. The black shoes are too dark and create a void that is drawing in my eye. This destraction doesnt allow me to engage with the subject and my eye is constantly moving between the face and the dark spot of the shoes.
