About Monument Valley, AZ. We hired a guide and it was well worth it. I set up my tripod and he came up next to me and said "Move your tripod right about 10 feet." I'd paid him to advise me, so I did what he said. He looked at the glow (sun not really visible yet) and said "Move over another foot and a half." I did, and a couple of minutes later, the sun came up between the thumb and the body of The Mitten.
