i used to walk by this everyday on my way to nyu. i think the photo is a little bit crooked and teh red sign is a bit distracting if the focus is the architecture.

The sharpness I think has much to do with the compression settings I used. Here is a quick and dirty attempt to remove the sign as per suggestions.

Ye I agree with Peter and Keith, the red sign needs to be removed, and the sharpeness increased. Maybe it was the sacnning process which caused the loss of sharpness. Or maybe it was because you were not using a tripod/support.

Yes the photo does draw the eye, my only nit pick would be the red sign at the bottom. If this could have been cloned out it make the image cleaner.
