The ancient ones sure had a peculiar way to get us confused. There's a lot of different explanations of the use of these stones and circles.

I love your landscapes because you give them a new life! Here, these stones look like having been invited to a Scottish festival and then they found it impossible to leave.The lighting is lovely embracing the stones in a lemony tint. The background slopes are like an autumn quilt, but in earthy colours. Wonderful capture! YT

I find these ancient sites enthralling. I have never visited any, although I would love to. The background looks as though you have added in a water colour painting. Beautiful. CC
