I have never heard of a swing-lens, but your description explains it for me. It sounds very intersting. What a great idea. I so enjoy my tour of your country through your pictures. As requested, I looked at teh larger image as seewhat you mean with the difference in sharpening--something I must keep in mind when uploading. Nature and serenity seem much more appreciated in japan than in some other places. MAry
